Binary files are not supported, only plain text files are supported. Please pay attention when exporting 3dxml from software. When
exporting from Catia, it needs to be set to XML Tessellation (Static Tessellation is not supported). 1. Set the system unit in 3ds Max software to Millimeters.
2. Open formats such as .max, .fbx, .dae, .3ds using 3ds Max 2018.
3. Confirm the model displays correctly. Click File → Export → Export in the top-left corner and select OBJ format.
4. Configure the export settings as shown in the figure below.
6. If textures appear blurry, adjust their size for clarity using the settings shown below
7.Fix for reversed texture coordinates when exporting FBX to OBJ:
● Select all models in the modeling software.
● Go to the Modifier list, select UV Coordinates, then choose UVW XForm.
● In the parameters panel on the right, check Flip under the V Tile option.
● Re-export to OBJ; the texture placement will now be correct.
